Starboard excels in the production of windfoils. This iconic Race windfoil from Starboard is the reason why foil windsurfing was put on the map. The foil enabled Foilers to outperform fin windsurfing for the first time.

The Race has since been further developed and updated to include the new Evolution fuselage and a new shape in the frontwing.Starboard developed 3 different types of carbon:C300 and C400 and C600. The mast consists of 100% carbon in all three types, it refers to the stiffness of the mast. The mast has a standard length of 95 cm.
