At NeilPryde they believe that 65% carbon is the minimum percentage you need to get the most out of your sail. They have balanced the lower carbon content with fiberglass prepreg layers in the laminating process to make the mast virtually indestructible. The thicker fiberglass wall of the mast makes it immune to ovalization under pressure. That makes this mast an excellent compromise between price and quality!
