Unlike the all-round wingsurf wing, the Matador is designed to sail upwind. Therefore, the wing has only small visibility options, because the wing surfer has full view most of the time.

The Matador has more draft and a larger leading edge than a similarly sized wing surfer, with the pressure moved forward. The leading-edge edge is more centrally focused and carries more power.
