With the latest technology and innovation, North has continued to evolve. By means of the 3DI molded technology, the sails are formed in 5 layers into a complete three-dimensional sail in one piece. 3DI technology makes it possible to place certain fibers where it is necessary and this results in 30-40% weight reduction. Within these layers, reinforced parts and Dyneema Aramid are used via a sandwich method in which the battens are also acquired. These different layers make the sail light, strong and durable. By applying a monofilm layer in the sail, your vision is not restricted meanwhile the sail remains extremely sturdy and stable, the characteristics for a perfect power wave sail.
