Do you have an RDM mast but a boom head that is made for an SDM mast? Then an adapter is a perfect solution.

The difference between RDM (Reduced Diameter Mast) and SDM (Standard Diameter Mast) is that the RDM are thinner than the SDM. This sometimes creates the problem that the boom head is too narrow for the boom. The adapter is placed between the boom head before you place the boom around your mast. This way your SDM boom head will also fit on RDM masts.
