The high carbon content and quality of this mast provide durability and a good reflex that will ease the feel of any sail. The best compromise between performance and durability. The “S” stands for sonic reflex. This means that they have applied an extra layer of carbon on top of the mast. This will enhance the reflex on the top part of the sail. The performance against the K100 is very minimal and can only be measured with a clock, it will not be felt. When purchasing the right mast you have to look at the specifications of the sail. Do you sail the brand with an SMD / RDM diameter? And which curve does the sail use.
Most users will use the standard (SDM) mast. If you are wave or freestyle, grab an RDM mast. The masts are also available in different carbon percentages. The higher the carbon percentage, the lighter your sail set will feel and the better the performance.
