The carbon percentage can have a lot of influence on your performance. The more carbon, the lighter your sail feels and the better the performance of your sail will be. Are you sailing with a sail smaller than 5.0 or are you freestyling / wave windsurfing, then look at an RDM mast. Are you planning to go freeriding, freeracing or slalom windsurfing? Then the SDM mast is the best option.
