This boom is made for experienced windsurfers who want to ride with the best gear on the market. The Platinum boom from Duotone is completely made of carbon. This makes this boom incredibly stiff and durable. The boom is made in a monocoque shape, this means that it is completely made out of one part so no bolts or pot nails have to be used anymore. This makes this boom even lighter. The Platinum SLS has an oval design which makes it super comfortable to hold and saves a lot of strength when sailing. The different sizes are made for different disciplines, the two smallest are wave oriented booms, the middle size is a hybrid/freeride boom and the largest sizes are race oriented.

This boom is made in the SLS version. This stands for Strong-Light-Superior. Duotone wants to indicate that this boom is designed for maximum performance and maximum dynamics without compromises. 

Please note! This boom is made in the MS version, which stands for Mega Slim. This means that the diameter of the boom arm is 24 mm. Looking for a thicker diameter? Then go for the standard Platinum SLS version.
