The TRIBAL line looks unconventional due to the large curvature on the front of the blade. From the direct classic Weed Speed ​​series, they have developed the specialized shallow water range for our riders who are gifted with access to flat water that is full of shallow seaweed beds.

They looked at the locations and the requirements to meet this way of windsurfing. The challenges include extra resistance and erosion when cutting seaweed, the shallow surface type, starting in shallow water where the fin is likely to drag along the bottom, and the extreme rake that causes problems with balance and strength. They have designed the fin to take these limitations into account at the same time, and the design shape is therefore unique.

The specially designed foil profile provides excellent low-end power and resistance to spin-out, with unparalleled recovery behavior. This means that you can use a much shorter fin for the same amount of power, but with drastically reduced resistance and increased control to push on speed. We have achieved this despite the fact that we have applied extreme tilt angles to the tip – higher than other brands, to give you more pitch penetration where it counts, with a tip shape that does not dig into the ground when you really need to start shallow.
