Tendon baseplates are on the rise in windsurfing, they have been around for a long time, but most of us will use the normal diabolo’s. The advantage of the tendon is that they bend less sideways. This keeps your sail more in the middle of your windsurf board. These baseplates are often also a little less high than our old trusted diabolos, which means that you can make the gap between your board and sail even smaller!
